Dog Parks in Vancouver

Finding the perfect home means taking a number of factors into account. Cost, neighbourhood, size, building, and convenience are all things you’ll likely consider when looking at properties. If you have a dog, park areas – and more specifically, dog-friendly park areas – will probably be a key consideration when buying a home. To help with your search, here’s a list of dog parks in Vancouver so you can find a home that’s suitable for both you and your pooch!

 

Andy Livingstone Park, Tinseltown

Located at 89 Expo Boulevard and Carrall St, Andy Livingstone Park has a fenced area where dogs are allowed off-leash. The dog park is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm and is very close to the high-rise apartments and shops of Tinseltown.

 

Coopers’ Park, Yaletown

With views of Cambie Bridge and False Creek, Coopers’ Park is a lovely spot to let your dog run wild and free. Located at 1020 Marinaside Crescent, the dog park sits a few steps from the seawall and is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm.

 

Emery Barnes Park, Yaletown

Set at Davie and Richards Street, Emery Barnes Park is a lovely spot to chill out with your dog. With a large fenced dog park area equipped with benches, trees and rock features, it’s a great place to take your companion. The park is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm.

 

Sunset Beach Dog Park, West End

Located underneath Burrard Bridge east of the ferry dock, Sunset Beach Dog park is a haven for our four-legged friends. With water access and a huge area to roam, it’s a great place for your dog to take a refreshing dip in the ocean. The park is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm.

 

Nelson Park, West End 

Your dog will make plenty of friends at Nelson Park located at Bute and Comox Street. The park has a large dog off-leash area and the dog park is open from 7:00am to 9:00pm.

 

Devonian Harbour Park, Coal Harbour

Situated on West Georgia and Denman Street, Devonian Harbour Park is the only dog-friendly park in Coal Harbour. With a fenced area that’s open from 6:00am to 10:00pm, this is a picturesque spot that’s surrounded by ocean, city and impressive yachts.

 

Crab Park, Gastown

Just steps from the heart of Gastown sits Crab Park which offers water access and an off-leash area at the East side of the Park. Off-leash times are 6:00am to 10:00am, and 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
